I trained for 3 years at the Birmingham School of Speech Training and Dramatic Art in England. My career as an actor Included Productions of Sondheim’s Into The Woods, Assassin’s, Shakespeare’s A Comedy Of Errors and King Lear, An original cast member of the comic farce, Laugh? I Nearly Went to Miami, Bless The Bride directed by Martin Charin, The Marquis DeSade In Marat/Sade and playing the loveable rogue Toad in a national tour of Wind in The Willows. My broadcasting career began with the BBC Radio Drama Company in London performing in many radio plays including the classic audio recording of Lord of The Rings and working at the historic Paris Studios. home of The Goons, The Navy Lark, Beyond Our Ken and more. I was later contracted to the BBC Radio School’s Repertory Company enjoying a diverse body of work which included Shakespeare, Alan Bennett, Alan Plater, Willy Russell, Miles Tredinnick and more. In the late 80’s I became a partner in the Voice-Over agency Chatterbox and narrated a famous documentary on the christening of the original Royal Princess cruise ship by Lady Diana. David has enjoyed commercial success voicing radio and TV commercials plus an accomplished Audio-Books narrator for the BBC and Amazon Audible books. He has a charming English R.P. melodic tone and a wide repertoire of characters and accents.
